NEW BALANCE 990DRK2

It's a close race between the MiUSA 990v2 and the UK's 991 for my favorite model. When the 990v2's reissue was announced a few years ago, I was ecstatic. My first pair was the classic grey 990GR2, and soon after, these 990DRK2.

The solid steel blue suede and 3M hints throughout the upper are exactly what this silhouette needed. This is a perfect example of 'less is more'. 

I wasn't expecting waxed laces with this pair, and I normally swap them out when I do acquire shoes that come with them; however, I think they fit well here. What do you think?
